Using a swim snorkel means you are not always breathing to your dominant side which helps make your stroke is more balanced. This is key for sprinters who need a smooth, kayak-like stroke turnover. Being able to turn your arms over quickly and evenly gives you a smooth stroke that maintains velocity. For mid-distance and distance swimmers the benefits are in balancing out the workload across both sides of your body to avoid over-loading one side which can lead to injury and strain like swimmer's shoulder.

By eliminating the need to turn the head for a breath, the swimmer can focus on technique and body position for efficient swimming. In many sports, the participant is encouraged to practice a specific motion slowly. The snorkel allows you to practice technique slowly in swimming.

As a not‑so‑strong swimmer, this has helped me focus on technique without worrying about breathing. Took a minute to get used to having my nose uncovered, but once I switched fully to mouth breathing it became effortless. Super stable, super comfortable and genuinely improving my stroke. Great swimming snorkel for exercising. Comfortable and the head strap is very comfortable. Value doesn’t let water in most of the time. Sometimes you need to blow it out. Value efficiency has room for improvement.

Have bought my 3rd snorkel since getting back into the pool. One of the best on the market, have tried a few. The reason I use it, is because I have OA in my neck and can't turn my head far enough out of the water to breathe. There is only one little problem, since the majority of women have smaller mouths than men, is there any way to have 2 sizes mouth pieces manufactured, just a suggestion. Your quick delivery is also very much appreciated.

Great snorkel for freestyle swimming. I have had no problems swimming with it and I have more confidence in the water. I bought the nose clip also but found I didn’t need it.

This snorkel is very easy to set up, use and is comfortable to wear. Normally I exhaust myself trying to breath whilst trying to swim free style and I end up giving up on trying to. The snorkel is allowing me to be able to build up my swimming endurance and still breath in a relaxed manner. If you are like me, give it a go.

Being a complete beginner, I’d spent many early mornings at my local outdoor pool gaining some confidence with my swim sets . I was interested to see dedicated swimmers using this piece of equipment in their training sessions. After a chat with my swim coach, and a search online, the Finnis snorkel had excellent reviews, so I decided to purchase one for myself. I wasn’t disappointed ! I first went to several large shops here but could not find what I was after.
I Googled "snorkel" and there it was. An improved version of the one I had been using, which leaked air.
So I bought one.
Then I needed goggles for the same reason - mine were old and had lost a rubber surround. I went straight to your website and there were several options. I chose one and am very satisfied with it. It's about the same price as my old one, but much improved and much more comfortable.
