Amnis Stream FAQs
How do I download music to my smartwatch?
Instructions for downloading music to your smartwatch are provided by your smartwatch brand or music provider. Please check their website or contact their customer service for specific questions. Links to instructions for popular smartwatch brands are in the device compatibility chart on FINISswim.com.
Can I wear my watch on my wrist so I can track my laps?
Your smartwatch must be within 5cm of the cord for the Bluetooth® connection to pass through the water. It’s best if your smartwatch is worn under your cap, or attached to your goggles with the watch clip.
Does my music need to be downloaded to my watch?
Yes. Download your preferred music or podcast app onto your smartwatch. The app must offer “offline listening” or the ability to download files. This is the same process you’d go through to listen to music in Airplane Mode.
Can I pause the music? Will it resume after?
Yes. To pause your music, press the multi-use button once. When you are ready for your Amnis Stream to play again, press the multi-use button again and it will resume.
How do I charge Amnis Stream?
Make sure your Amnis Stream is completely dry before charging. Insert the USB charger, then remove the Goggle Clip from the left headphone (the one without the buttons) and slide it into the charger (logo side down). The light is red while charging and green when fully charged.
How often do I need to charge?
Amnis Stream can last up to 5 hours of use, depending on volume level.
My battery isn’t lasting 5 hours. What do I do?
Turn down the volume on your watch or your Amnis Stream to increase your battery life.
How do the watch clips work?
Take the straps off your watch and slide the watch clip into place. Then attach it to your Amnis Stream and goggle strap. This creates the most secure placement for your watch.
Which watches are compatible?
See the compatibility chart on the Amnis Stream product page at www.FINISswim.com/Amnis-Stream.
Can I use watches other than Apple or Garmin?
Yes. Amnis Stream is compatible with any smartwatch with offline audio capabilities.
Do I need to have my cell phone nearby?
No, you just need a watch with offline audio capabilities.
Can you receive calls while swimming?
Yes, if you have cellular capabilities on your smartwatch. However, the device does not have a microphone, so the caller may not be able to hear you.

Swimmers can then adjust from -4 to +4 based on personal preference. Depending on the block type, you may also need to adjust the Wedge Strap (A).

Not all blocks are the same, and block attachment might be slightly different.
- Single-post block (attached to the post): loop both Block Straps (E) around the single post.
- Two-post block (attached to the posts): loop each of the Block Straps (E) around the two posts.
- Four-post block (attached to the posts): loop each of the Block Straps (E) around the back two posts.
- Large-base block (attached to the block’s edge): use the S Hook (C) to attach to the block’s edge.

Tempo Trainer Pro: modes
Mode 1: stroke rate or tempo. Monitor and set your stroke rate or tempo, adjustable down to 1/100th of a second. It enhances your sprints and prepares you for shorter races; these small adjustments can translate into big changes in stroke length and efficiency over time. Set the Tempo Trainer Pro to beep every XX:XX seconds. The time ranges from 00:20 (0.2 seconds) to 99:99 (99.99 seconds), scrolling by hundredths of a second. A single beep occurs between 00:20 and 4.99 seconds; a double beep occurs between 4.99 and 99.99 seconds.
Mode 2: pace times. Monitor and set pace times for laps, distance sets or intervals, adjustable by full seconds. It enhances your endurance and prepares you for distance races and open water swimming, and can also be used during sprint sets to determine benchmarks. Set the Tempo Trainer Pro to beep every XX minutes and XX seconds. The time ranges from 00.01 (1 second) to 9:59 (9 minutes, 59 seconds), scrolling by seconds. A triple beep will occur.
Mode 3: strokes or cycles per minute. Monitor and set your stroke rate or tempo using strokes/cycles per minute. It tracks strokes per minute and distance per stroke, and makes sure your strokes are not getting shorter as you swim; the device automatically calculates how often to beep. Set the Tempo Trainer Pro to your desired strokes/cycles per minute. The interval ranges from 10 to 300: values from 10 to 120 scroll in single units, and values from 120 to 300 in units of five. A single beep will occur.
