In 2021, Olivia won a bronze medal swimming in the Women’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay at the Tokyo Olympics.
At the 2023 World Championships in Japan, Smoliga earned her a spot in the finals relay where the US took silver. Additionally, she won silver with Team USA in the mixed 400 free relay.
