Lorenzo Zazzeri
Lorenzo Zazzeri is an Italian swimmer who has made his mark in the swimming world. Zazzeri won the gold collar with sporting merit which is the maximum recognition to an Italian athlete.
Zazzeri has competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, winning silver in the 4×100 freestyle, and placing 7th in the 50 freestyle final! This Italian swimmer has also made strides in swimming through his numerous medals at the World Championships, European Championships, and World SC Swimming Championships, just to name a few.
Recently, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Zazzeri won a bronze medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay as a heat swimmer. His performance showcased his elite skill and contributed to the team's success!
Outside of swimming, Lorenzo has a huge passion for art and drawing. As an artist, he is known on social media as “@zazzart”. He has exhibited at the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence, Spain, and Austria. Zazzeri is also a graduate in motor science and is currently enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in the course Visual Arts.
