Henri Schoeman
Henri Schoeman has firmly established himself as a top international competitor in recent years. As a teenager, he emerged as a leading distance freestyler, which paved the way for a successful triathlon career. Known for his explosive starts, he often leads the swim segment. Schoeman has consistently ranked in the top ten of the ITU World Rankings and clinched a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
In 2021, he represented South Africa again at the Tokyo Olympics but had to withdraw due to a stress fracture in his ankle. Despite this setback, Schoeman has rebounded impressively. He was crowned the 2023 World Triathlon Esports Champion and won his first Ironman 70.3 in 2024, showcasing his continued excellence in the triathlon world.
Schoeman recently wrapped up his third Olympic Games, finishing 20th in his event. After several years marked by both challenges and triumphs, Schoeman reflects, “I am so humbled by my support system and so proud of what we have achieved together.”
