Alex Cohoon
Alex Cohoon’s swimming journey has been anything but conventional, and it’s just beginning! Initially a dedicated rugby player, Cohoon transitioned to swimming and found immediate success, remarking that “it just clicked.” His new path quickly led to a gold medal in the 50m freestyle in the 17+ age group, securing him a spot in Loughborough University’s swimming program.
Among his notable achievements, Cohoon competed at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in December 2023, where he earned a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle and finished fourth in the 100m freestyle.
Cohoon proudly represented Team Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Competing against the world's best, he demonstrated exceptional athleticism and sportsmanship!
