In 1995, FINIS created the first center-mount snorkel for the competitive swim market. Since then, snorkels have become a staple product in pools around the world. Their widespread use helped identify two common complaints: head brackets HURT (often leaving a bump on your head), and the "earthquake experience" you get off every wall is enough to drive you crazy.

The snorkel is comfortable, less bulky than my older ones and feels more streamlined. However strap is way too tight and gives me a headache. The strap is about 10cm shorter than my old speedo and arena snorkel straps. It would be good for a child or anyone that likes a really secure/tight strap. The snorkel’s strap is designed to loop around the head twice. I’ve had to wrap one loop around the snorkel a few times and just use one longer looped strap so it’s more comfortable. As a result the snorkel moves around a bit and needs regular adjusting, however no longer gives me a headache. Not ideal for the most expensive snorkel I’ve ever purchased!
Finis was emailed, but weren’t much help 🤷🏼♀️
The snorkel is more comfortable than others and the swivel mouthpiece is excellent. It is stable in the water as claimed.
The head straps need to be longer though; I have a 58.5cm circumference head and the straps are still a little tight when at their furthest setting.
This snorkel was bought for my 9 year old grandson who trains almost every day. He has had other brands of snorkels but refused to wear them as they were very uncomfortable and he kept swallowing water. With the finis snorkel he said they were comfortable and he can even do tumble turns without any problems. He places them on his head and does not fiddle faddle with them throughout the squad session, as they stay put. Highly recommend them.
I am a lifelong swimmer. Using this snorkel has been a game changer for me. Assisting with my stroke alignment and pace and also with the regulation of my breathing. Excellent!

This snorkel sees me swimming faster and longer than ever before in my life. I'm 73 years old. Comfortable and easy to use. Just looks a bit weird at the start, but you get over that pretty quickly.

Great snorkel, very comfortable and easy to fit and use, however if, like me, you are new to using a snorkel for laps, please get the nose clip as well unless you really enjoy sinus irrigation!!

Material quality and design was good. My primary reason for the low star rating was the size. My head size is 7 1/4 (58 cm) which is considered mens L. Unfortunately even at maximum, the straps were un-wearably tight. All that was needed was a longer strap.
I had the earlier version of the finis snorkel whcih was great. The stability snorkel is even better. Feels a lot smoother in the water and more comfortable on the head

Hubby happy with his snorkel, it allows him to streamline his form. He has a disabled hand and executing a precise stroke is harder for him. This snorkel is a bonus. We purchased a cheaper brand in January which failed within 4 weeks. I hope this one lasts a lot longer. The service is brilliant and we got it very quickly!
The new design centre snorkel is not a one size fits all. Found the style of the looping rubber band fastening not stable, nor the pre-determined forehead mould.
I thought I could get used to it, but no. Ended up replacing it and buying the original type.
Excellent snorkel! My last one was cheaper, uncomfortable and left dents on my forehead ( straps were not too tight ;)

I suspect the snorkel was shipped with an incorrect strap as I am not able to find a comfortable fit. Have reported this back to Finis including photo evidence and strap measurement still no reply. Paid a premium on a dud snorkel that I can’t use comfortably.

Love this it pushes me to workout my arms and legs and makes it easier as you don’t have to turn your head so eliminates concentrating on my breath control.

Would be better if there was a purge valve. Quality seems average too - the section that swivels was poorly moulded on my snorkel, required trimming of excess plastic at the mould lines so that the o-ring seals would function properly

Excellent quality front snorkel, comfortable, no leakage, fit for purpose and easy to use. Took a few seconds to adjust to having nose exposed to water (obvious in retrospect as I was wearing swimming, not snorkelling, goggles!) so this meant I could also practise exhaling through nose/mouth in addition to working on ‘the rest’.
